1) If I buy it in the US, may I use it with a Wi-Fi connection anywhere in the world?
2) I already have some books in PDF on my Mac, can I pass them to the Kindle?
3) What software does it use to navigate and download books?
1. Yes. A wi-fi hotspot is pretty much the same all over the world.
2. Most likely. If it’s a .pdf with Digital Rights Management enabled, it might not.
3. The Kindle uses the Kindle OS, developed by Amazon, and unique to the device. It pretty much mimics buying something on Amazon, but it’s more text based with fewer pictures.
